Dr. Adlin attained her Degree in Medicine from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) back in 2002 and subsequently pursued her Masters of Medicine (Anaesthesiology) from the same university in 2011. Currently she is a Senior Lecturer & Consultant Anaesthesiologist in Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sungai Buloh and also the Head of Department of Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care. She has always been having special interest towards organ donation & transplantation. Since the end of 2017, she has been the Coordinator for Anaesthesiology Department for living related kidney transplant in UiTM. She has completed the training the trainers in 2019 for Organ Donation Innovative Strategies for Southeast Asia (ODISSeA), an Erasmus+ project by University of Barcelona and Donation and Transplantation Institute in Spain. Since then, she has been the UiTM trainer together with other trainers from UiTM and Universiti Malaya (UM) for Postgraduate Certificate in Organ Donation & Transplant Medicine in Malaysia. The first batch has successfully completed the programme recently. The trainees of the programme specifically targeted anaesthesiologists, intensivists, emergency physicians, neurosurgeons, neurologists, nephrologists and transplant coordinators. She will continue her passion and contribution on making this programme successful, hence aiming for overall increase in organ donation rate in Malaysia. Dr. Adlin has also successfully organized the first corneal procurement (the first deceased donation with her team in UiTM in February 2021, together with the help and strong support from National Transplant Resource Centre (NTRC) Team. She is very determined to help and develop a proper multi-organ deceased donation and transplant service with a dedicated team in the new hospital of UiTM in Puncak Alam.
