This page provides guidelines for submitting an abstract in the conference. Authors should strictly follow the guidelines about the layout and style required for submitting the abstract. The abstracts accepted for presentation will be included in the e-booklet of the congress
All abstracts must be submitted online via the Congress registration platform, no hardcopy is required.
All research and studies in submitted abstracts must comply with the WMA Declaration of Helsinki, the Declaration of Istanbul on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism, and the NIH Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals.
Abstracts should contain original material that has neither been published nor presented at another international meeting at the time of submission. In addition, abstracts should not be submitted to international meetings which take place before the CAST 2021. Multiple abstracts based on the same study will be summarily rejected.

The submission of an abstract affirms that all authors named in the abstract have agreed for its presentation in the CAST 2021 and its publication in the abstract booklet.
It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to disclose all conflicts of interest (COI) or any financial/commercial relationships including that of co-authors.
The source of funding should be disclosed. If there is none, the same should be indicated.
The submission of an abstract implies the commitment of the author to present the study (if accepted) in the CAST 2021. The preparation, submission and presentation of the study will be the responsibility of the author.
The presentation will be done in English language in following type of presentation:
- Full oral presentation
8 minutes pre-recorded presentation + 2 minutes Live Q&A
Detailed presentation guidelines will be sent to the corresponding author when the abstract has been accepted.
- Poster display
The submission deadline will be 30 April 2021 @ 23:59 hrs (GMT+8). No abstracts will be accepted after this deadline.
All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer-review process by a panel of expert reviewers. Accepted abstracts will be selected for either oral or poster presentation. The CAST 2021 Committee reserves the right to re-categorise any accepted abstract. The decision of the committee is final and irrevocable.
You will be notified about the decision of acceptance (or rejection) by 30 May 2021 and the registration payment should be made ON or BEFORE 20 May 2021.
The corresponding or presenting author is expected to have registered for the congress during abstract submission. Payment SHOULD BE MADE after the notification of acceptance/rejection.
The accepted abstract(s) will be published in the Congress e-PROCEEDINGS only if /after the corresponding or presenting author is a registered and paid delegate(s).
If you are not able to complete the online submission process, you can save your submission until you return later to complete it. Please note that your submission must be completed before the submission deadline.
A confirmation email on the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the corresponding author. Please ensure you have provided a valid email account during submission. We will not be responsible for any missed-out information, if you did not provide a correct email in the first place. Sometimes you will need to check the spam mail folder if you did not receive any emails from us.
Likewise, the acceptance of abstracts will be notified by email to the corresponding author.
The presenting author is expected to present the abstract during their designated oral session. Details of the session will be notified by email.
The title should be written in initial capital/ lower case format.
Authors’ names should be in surname-last format, capitalised on the first letter of each name.
Authors’ affiliation should contain the name of institution, city and country.
Organise the Abstract under the following headlines – Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results and Conclusions.
Abstracts must be written in the English language in all parts including title, abstract text, names of the authors, affiliations, table, figure and graph.
The presenting author will be the sole corresponding author accepted by the Congress and the primary one responsible for the contents of the study and will be deemed to have taken consent from all the co-authors of the study.
It is the authors' responsibility to review, proofread and approve their submissions for format, form and language before the submission deadline.
The abstract is restricted to a maximum of 250 words.
